What Your Support Enables
Where love begins—from the very first heartbeat.
Pawsitive Beginnings is a small, dedicated rescue built on compassion and care. With a passionate team of three full-time and two part-time staff members, we focus on saving pregnant dogs, new mothers, and their litters from overcrowded shelters.
We rescue entire families, ensuring mothers and their babies can stay together in safety, receiving the care and love they deserve.
Because Pawsitive Beginnings is a fully foster-based rescue, every dog we save lives in a warm, loving home—never a kennel—while they heal, grow, and prepare for adoption.

The story of Red - Remington
Sweet Redhead was the only one from a litter of ten who hadn’t found his family yet. Just as someone met him and fell in love, we found out that he has OCD – Osteochondritis Dissecans – and required an expensive operation. His adopter, however, proved to be an incredible, committed human, and not only waited for Red to be ready, she even fostered him through a tough and lengthy recovery. We are so happy to report that Red, now Remington, has officially been adopted. Almost exactly a year after he was born, he is finally where he belongs.
